This retreat approaches healing broadly and creatively. Participate as much or as little as feels right. Activities are intended for personal enrichment, reflection and wellness and are not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment.

Spend time exploring the sanctuary's garden, trail, labyrinth and pond, play games and enjoy the mountain landscape. We'll also venture to Diamond Valley Lake for outdoor exploration, including a boat trip experience and opportunities to hike Wildflower Trail (if open) and enjoy the landscape.

Join us for one full day of retreat programming. Your Day Pass includes scheduled workshops and experiences taking place during your selected retreat day, access to the sanctuary and meals/snacks offered during your pass period.

Creative Soul Sanctuary is a private space and property approximately one mile from Buena Vista Community Park. For the privacy of the property and its residents, the exact retreat address will be provided to registered participants before the event. Please DO NOT attempt to visit Creative Soul Sanctuary without a confirmed registration or invitation.
The retreat is approximately 80 miles from Los Angeles and surrounded by mountains and landscapes.
A detailed retreat schedule and facilitator lineup will be released before the retreat. Activities are subject to reasonable changes based on weather, facilitator availability and other circumstances.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need experience with art, dance, drumming, meditation, etc?
No. The retreat is designed to welcome beginners as well as people with established practices. Workshops emphasize participation, exploration and connection.
Do I have to participate in everything?
No. This is intentionally a multi-experience retreat. Participate in what speaks to you and leave room to rest, walk the garden or simply enjoy the space.
Where exactly is the retreat?
Creative Soul Sanctuary is a private property approximately one mile from Buena Vista Community Park inHemet, CA 92543. The exact address and arrival instructions will be sent directly to confirmed participants. Creative Soul Sanctuary is a private property rather than a public park or walk-in commercial venue. Limiting public distribution of the address helps protect the privacy of the property and its residents.
What does the $290 Full Retreat Package include?
The package includes two days of retreat programming, 15+ workshops and experiences, five meals plus snacks, nearby accommodations (walkable), evening programming and the planned Diamond Valley Lake boat tour.
What are the accommodations like?
Participants in the Full Retreat Package will receive nearby/walkable accommodations. Each individual receives their own bed and some will share rooms by gender. Several bathrooms/showers are onsite. Additional lodging and room-assignment information will be provided to registered guests.
Can I stay somewhere else or commute?
Yes. The Soboba Casino and Resort is also minutes away and provides great accommodations.
Can I attend for only one day? Can I attend just one workshop?
Yes. Day Passes are $95 and provide access to scheduled programming during the selected day.Individual workshops and experiences start at $20. Priority will be given to Full Retreat and Day Pass participants, so individual workshop availability may be limited.
Are meals included?
Five meals plus snacks are included with the Full Retreat Package and Day Pass participants. Please identify dietary restrictions and food allergies when registering.
What should I bring?
We recommend comfortable clothing, layers for changing temperatures, closed-toe walking shoes, a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, personal medications and any essentials.
Will everything happen outdoors?
Much of the retreat is designed around the garden and outdoor environment. Some activities may take place in covered or enclosed spaces. Programming may be adjusted for weather or other conditions.
Is the property fully accessible?
Creative Soul Sanctuary is an evolving outdoor garden property with natural ground, trails and uneven surfaces in some areas. Please identify mobility or accessibility needs on your registration form before purchasing, and we will discuss the specific activities and areas relevant to your needs.
Can children attend?
Children can attend, but we are not able to support with supervision. The retreat is designed for adults.
Can I bring alcohol or other substances?
No illegal drugs are allowed at the sanctuary. There is a smoker and 420 friendly area of the property.
Can I bring my pet?
No pets are allowed on the property. We have rodent/gopher poison in areas of the property that can be lethal to pets. There are plants that are toxic/harmful to pets.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
Retreat registrations are transferable to another eligible participant with advance notice. Full refunds are available through October 14. From October 14–20, cancellations receive a 50% refund. Beginning October 21, registrations are nonrefundable because lodging, food, facilitators and other retreat expenses will have been committed.
Will photos and videos be taken?
Yes, although individuals may opt out. Creative Soul Sanctuary and Project KnuckleHead may photograph and record portions of the retreat. Participants will receive information about photography/video practices during registration.
